The 150th celebration of our Volga German ancestors in Ellis County and Western Kansas is coming up in 2026. ECHS wants to organize and lead a committee of village/organization volunteers to help us plan the very best events to honor their legacy.

This is your invitation to participate with ECHS and other community leaders. Please come in person or relay this invitation to someone from your village/organization who would be interested in serving on our Sesquicentennial Action Committee (SAC). Many minds are better than just one mind. We want to hear ideas from all camps. Now is the time to begin because 2026 is just around the corner.
