We are doing a special bake of 50 boxes. They will be on sale on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, at the Ellis County Heritage Center in Victoria, beginning at 1 P.M.

Pinochle Tournament
Join us for our Pinochle Tournament on Saturday, August 8th 2026, from 1 - 3:30 P.M. at the new Ellis County Heritage Center located at 701 7th St, Victoria KS.
Bring your best partner for a two person team. The tournament will be limited to 20 Teams.
$30 Entry Fee.

Josie's Gift is a Heritage Play that celebrates the history and tradition of the Volga Germans, in a modern day setting.
This event is FREE with no reservations required.
Showtime is at 7 P.M. Doors will open at 6:30.
At the Hays High School Performing Arts Center.

Kansas' history is filled with colorful characters that have shaped the state we know today. Through the passage of tie, perspectives change and reality can give way to legend. Lines begin to blur just exactly who is truly deserving of the title NOTORIOUS.

About the event
This engaging exhibit will explore a selection of so called Notorious figures from Kans' past, leaving the visitor to answer just what made them receive such a title. Perhaps they might even disagree.
Thanks to the Smokky Hill Museum in Salina for producing this exciting travelling exhibit!
This summer the traveling exhibit NOTORIOUS will be displayed in the newly remodeled basement commons space in ECHS main brick building at 7th and Main. To access the basement please use the office entrance door located on the east side of the building, ground level door right off of 7th/Main corner (behind the limestone museum sign). At this time no ramp is available to this level, but we are working towards entrance accessibility soon!
